Terms for playing on the green

1. Who runs the green

These terms govern your use of villagecricketgreen.com ("Village Cricket Green", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of villagecricketgreen.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who may walk out to play

Village Cricket Green is only for users aged 18 or over, and by using it you confirm that you are 18 or over.

3. Scorebook coins

• Every game runs on virtual coins, given free of charge.
• Scorebook coins have no monetary value and are not money, credit or property.
• Coins can never be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes, and there are no in-app purchases.
• No prize with real-world value is offered at any time.
• We may adjust or reset coins, levels and features on the green at any time.

4. No real-money gambling on the green

Village Cricket Green does not offer or promote real-money gambling on the green, and it does not link to gambling operators.

5. Membership

• Cream Tea Interval and Six Over the Oaks need a free account. Each person may hold one account, and it must not be shared.
• Keep your password to yourself, as you would the pavilion key, and tell us at once if someone else has used your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed.
• We may suspend an account used to disrupt the green, or one we believe belongs to someone under 18.
• Coins, levels and missions belong to the scorebook of your account, not to you as property, and may be reset.

6. Fair play on the green

Do not try to disrupt the site, run automated tools against it, offer to trade coins, or allow anyone under 18 to use it.

7. Rain stopped play: availability and liability

The site is provided “as is”, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and your statutory rights are not affected.

8. The law the green plays under

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, the green’s home ground.
